AMA Summary — April 23rd
In our recent AMA, the development team provided the current status of Ragnarok: Monster World. Key topics included the $ZENY Token Generation Event (TGE), the launch of the CROSS server, Ronin ecosystem support, and upcoming feature plans. The following is a structured summary of the discussion.
1. TGE
The $ZENY TGE will take place on the Ronin chain, but no fixed launch date has been confirmed.
The primary reason for the delay is a lack of sufficient revenue to support initial liquidity. Currently, all on-chain activities are conducted using $RUPI, and the team has not sold any $RUPI tokens since launch. In alignment with previous community commitments, $RUPI will not be sold unless its price exceeds $0.1.
To address this, the team has pledged to allocate future ROMW revenue toward validator setup and liquidity provision. If the community prefers that 100% of revenue be directed to liquidity, the team is fully supportive of that direction.
2. CROSS Chain Ecosystem Launch
The CROSS server will launch on April 24, establishing a completely independent ecosystem separate from Ronin.
The two chains operate under distinct token economies:
Ronin: uses eZENY
CROSS: uses xZENY
Note: Tokens are not interchangeable between servers.
On the CROSS server, only players with a Paid Battle Pass can earn xZENY.
A new NFT Sealing/Unsealing system has been introduced:
In-game Ragmons can be sealed to become tradable NFTs.
Sealed Ragmon NFTs cannot be used in gameplay.
To use a Ragmon NFT in-game, it must first be unsealed, a process that requires $ZENY (CROSS).
3. Continued Commitment to the Ronin Server
The team reiterated its long-term commitment to the Ronin server, despite the current lack of monetization.
Ronin will continue to receive gameplay updates, balance patches, and infrastructure support.
The team is actively evaluating the best method to introduce new NFT utilities on Ronin, while considering economic sustainability.
4. Future Development Plans
Replay mode is under consideration to enhance community engagement and support content creators.
IV-based Ragmons are currently in development. These Ragmons will feature individualized stats such as HP, ATK, and DEF, enabling deeper strategic gameplay and more personalized team compositions.
The team remains committed to supporting both Ronin and CROSS ecosystems in parallel. We appreciate your continued trust and patience as we focus on transparency and steady progress across both environments.
