AMA Summary - March 26th
Hello, Tamers!
On March 26th, we held an AMA in our Discord Server. Our CEO, Alma and our dedicated CM, Yamemuri sat down to address the main questions and concerns from our community live for about one full hour.
Thank you to everyone who participated in our AMA. For those who unfortunately couldn’t join, this article recaps everything we discussed in a Q&A format. We hope you enjoyed our AMA and found it helpful!
Introduction
Before jumping into the other questions, we want to announce — ZENY TGE will be on CROSS chain. We will jump into the details one by one. Apologies for the delay in sharing this update.
Gravity’s approval for CROSS onboarding was recently finalized, allowing us to make this information public. Now that the approval is in place, we are actively discussing the details of CROSS onboarding with the CROSS team. We promise to keep you informed about the progress through upcoming AMAs and other updates.
About CROSS
1. Detailed explanation of Cross (Medium)
CROSS is a blockchain protocol with a vision to give players real ownership of their in-game earnings.
They are building a large-scale gaming platform with an open SDK and plans to add 100 games by 2025. With this, they are planning to bring in at least 100,000 early users through partnerships with top KOLs and strong marketing efforts.
Each game on the CROSS chain can issue its own tokens, which can be exchanged for CROSS tokens on the CROSS DEX.
A full guide about the platform will be shared on CROSS X in April.
2. Will they issue their own token? If so, what is the utility of the token?
Currency for CROSS platform (DEX, NFT marketplace, Gameplay)
3. $CROSS TGE details?
$CROSS is an ETH-based token
Total supply: 1B
They successfully completed their private sale in March at $0.1, raising $10M.
They are preparing for the public sale at the same price. For now, they are talking with top exchanges about listing.
4. CROSS Roadmap
Phase 1 — $CROSS Private sales
Phase 2 — WP reveal, $CROSS Public sales, DEX Opens, TGE, NFT Marketplace
Token listing on major CEXs
5. Benefit for ROMW holders
We will be the first game to join the CROSS chain and be the first game to earn CROSS tokens.
As mentioned before, with Gravity’s approval now finalized, we’re working closely with the CROSS team on different areas including our holder benefit.
The benefits and events for our holders will be shared in the next AMA.
6. Will the game content be updated? (Will the game on CROSS be different with Ronin?)
With our onboarding to CROSS, there are certain new policies we’re required to follow. As a result, we’re working to update some of our content to ensure it aligns with CROSS’s guidelines.
That said, we’re doing our best to minimize changes and maintain the original experience wherever possible. If any significant updates are needed, we’ll make sure to communicate them in advance.
We will be sharing the full detailed game ecosystem for the CROSS version in our upcoming AMA.
About TGE
1. Why TGE was delayed so much?
We had everything in place for the TGE and were closely monitoring the market to ensure the right timing for the listing.
During that period, we began discussions with the CROSS team about a potential collaboration and onboarding.
As those conversations progressed, we saw a strategic opportunity that could significantly benefit our project in the long run.
After careful consideration, we made the decision to do our TGE on CROSS chain to align with our larger vision.
2. What happened to the 5 CEXs that we got approved?
It’s true that we secured listing approvals from several Tier 2 and Tier 3 exchanges. However, after careful evaluation, we decided to collaborate with CROSS. We believe this direction offers much greater long-term value for our community — especially considering that CROSS is on track to be listed on Tier 1 exchanges.
So the process will go like this — $ZENY will first be exchanged for CROSS on the CROSS DEX. Once CROSS is listed on Tier 1 exchanges, our holders will be able to cash out under better conditions — with improved liquidity and access.
As many of you know, getting listed on a Tier 1 exchange is incredibly challenging. By partnering with CROSS, we’re taking a more strategic approach that could open bigger doors for our project down the line.
3. ZENY TGE will be on CROSS (Why)
After comparing all our options, we ultimately decided that doing the ZENY TGE on CROSS would bring the most benefit to our community. One of the key reasons is that we’ll be providing 100% liquidity on CROSS.
Also, since CROSS is preparing for a Tier 1 exchange listing, this opens up greater opportunities for our users. Ragmon players who acquire CROSS tokens through the DEX will potentially be able to trade them on Tier 1 exchanges, giving them access to better liquidity and value.
In the end, this path made the most strategic sense — so we’re moving forward with CROSS for the TGE.
4. How to cashout ZENY (Process)
The process is straightforward. First, users can convert their in-game eZENY to ZENY through our web platform. From there, ZENY can be swapped for CROSS tokens on the CROSS DEX.
Since CROSS tokens will be listed on major exchanges, users will then be able to cash out by trading their CROSS tokens on those exchanges.
We’ve structured it this way to ensure the process is smooth while also giving users access to better liquidity through CEX listings.
5. ZENY TGE Timeline
The ZENY TGE is planned to happen in Q2, alongside the official launch of the CROSS DEX. That launch will mark the beginning of the transition phase, where in-game currencies — eZENY, Nyangvine, and RUPI — along with the GT airdrop portion will be gradually converted into ZENY.
Once users receive ZENY, they’ll be able to exchange it for $CROSS on the CROSS DEX. And when $CROSS becomes available on major exchanges, users will have the option to cash out through those platforms.
It’s important to note that the exact schedule for the CEX listings will depend on CROSS’s own timeline, but we’ll continue to share updates as we move forward.
6. Token allocation update?
Yes — we’re currently updating our token allocation to align with CROSS’s policies as part of our onboarding process. This also means we’re revising our tokenomics to follow CROSS’s “Zero-Policy” model, which is designed to ensure transparency, fairness, and long-term sustainability.
Here’s CROSS’s main policies:
Zero Minting: The total token supply is fixed — no additional minting or inflation.
Zero Reserve: No pre-allocated tokens for the team, insiders, or investors.
Zero Freerider: No private sales or early privileged access.
So, In other words, ZENY can only be earned through gameplay. Even our own team won’t have reserved tokens — if we need ZENY for treasury or operations, we’ll have to earn or purchase.
CROSS supports this structure because they believe it’s a necessary step toward building a truly fair Web3 ecosystem and for us, to make a better ecosystem will follow this.
7. Current tokens to ZENY timeline
So currently, with our plan, ZENY can be obtained in several ways — through eZENY, Nyangvine, the GT airdrop, and RUPI conversion.
Since the TGE will happen CROSS chain and ZENY will be cashable via the CROSS token, we need to carefully coordinate the circulation of both ZENY and CROSS. That’s why this topic is one of our top priorities in ongoing discussions with the CROSS team, especially after finalizing our updated tokenomics.
We’ll make sure to share a detailed timeline and conversion plan as soon as everything is confirmed. We really appreciate your patience and support as we work through this process.
About Ronin Validator
1. Do we still have a plan to become a Ronin validator after onboarding to CROSS?
Yes
2. Why there is no validator update?
We saw that the monthly growth rate for the RON Validator was only about 1%. Looking back, we understand that our last update caused a lot of negative reactions, and we realized we weren’t making progress at the speed the community hoped for.
To avoid more negativity, we stopped sharing updates about the validator’s status. We had planned to share information when there was a significant change in progression, but there were no major updates.
However, we made the mistake of not finding a solution quickly, which led to an uncomfortable silence. We recognize this and understand how it may have affected the community.
3. Solution — eZENY Airdrop to GT
As promised, we will airdrop eZENY starting in April until the RON validator set up, beginning with 500. The airdrop amount will increase by 100 each month until it reaches a maximum of 1,000.
April: 500
May: 600
June: 700
July: 800
August: 900
September to December: 1,000 each month
Others
1. Check-in System?
The check-in system was originally introduced to help us build the user metrics we needed for CEX listings. However, since we’ve now made the decision to onboard with CROSS instead, we’ll be officially discontinuing the check-in system as of March 31st.
We understand that the system — especially the VRF mechanics — caused some confusion and inconvenience. It was intended to add a fun, engaging layer to the experience, but in reality, it ended up becoming more of an obstacle. That’s on us.
We’ve learned a lot from this and will do better moving forward. The materials earned through the check-in system won’t go to waste — they’ll be integrated into future content updates. Thank you for bearing with us, and we truly appreciate your continued support.
2. Nyangvine Raffle
We want to clarify that the Nyangvine Raffle will no longer be continued.
Instead, we’ve made the decision to accelerate the TGE timeline. Given the current circumstances — including ongoing game updates, marketplace development, and active discussions with partners like Gravity and CROSS — we believe that creating new rewards and rerunning the VRF to conduct the raffle would not be the most meaningful or efficient use of resources for the community at this stage.
Now that we’ve received approval from Gravity, we’re moving forward with full focus and urgency. Fast-tracking the TGE is, in our view, the best and most impactful next step — and we’re doing everything we can to make that happen as soon as possible.
3. What happened to bi-weekly text AMA?
We initially planned to hold bi-weekly text AMAs to maintain regular communication with the community. But as our discussions with CROSS progressed, we realized that this format wasn’t sustainable — simply because we didn’t have meaningful updates to share on a bi-weekly basis.
At the start, we expected the negotiations to move relatively quickly. However, as things unfolded, the process became more complex than we had anticipated. Many of our original plans needed to be re-evaluated and adjusted to reflect the changes that were coming.
We appreciate your patience, and going forward, we’ll continue to communicate through more timely and transparent updates when there’s concrete progress to share.
4. Why team is moving so slow?
We understand that things may seem slow, and we completely empathize with that frustration. One of the main reasons is that we’re currently in ongoing discussions with Gravity, the IP holder, regarding our upcoming TGE and the onboarding process with CROSS.
Since Gravity is a large corporation, there’s a formal approval process we must follow, which naturally takes time. It requires continuous back-and-forth communication, and as a result, we haven’t been able to move as quickly as we’d hoped in certain areas.
Due to contractual obligations, there are details we’re not able to disclose publicly, but please know that we’re just as eager to move things forward — and we’re doing everything we can behind the scenes to make that happen as efficiently as possible.
5. How is the RUPI buyback being carried out?
Since our announcement on February 27, we’ve accumulated around 2,000 RON from marketplace transaction fees. As previously shared, half of that amount will be used for RUPI buyback.
We’ll begin executing the buyback in phases, starting in early April. By proceeding step-by-step, we can ensure the process remains sustainable and aligned with the broader plans we have for the game economy.
6. Are we getting new units this season?
There won’t be any new units added in Season 3.
With the onboarding on CROSS and their main policies, we’re taking time to carefully consider how and when to introduce new Ragmons. There are several possibilities we’re exploring — such as bringing them in through mystery boxes like before, selling individual units directly, or offering them through in-game events like the current $RUPI Burn Event.
Nothing is finalized yet, but we’re actively reviewing the best approach, and we’ll make sure to share updates with the community as soon as we’re ready.
7. Landverse collaboration
We’ve been in touch with the Landverse team regarding a potential WL collaboration. It is possible — but since the number of units available for sale is quite limited, any whitelist spots we receive will be distributed to our Genesis Tamers first. We’ll share the exact quantities as soon as we receive confirmation from the Landverse team.
We’re actively exploring broader IP collaboration ideas, but at this point, we can’t confirm when — or even if — they’ll happen, as they depend on Gravity’s approvals. That said, we’re excited about the potential for Ragnarok IP collaborations. Gravity has provided clear guidelines, and we’re working on the necessary documentation, including game updates and execution plans. So this takes much time.
