Ragnarok: Monster World - New Adventure Begins

As we approach the end of the year, we’ve taken the opportunity to analyze and refine our game’s ecosystem. With this update, we aim to meet the needs of Web3 users while introducing exciting new features and delivering more engaging content for you to enjoy.
This article outlines the key updates coming to Ragnarok: Monster World and how these changes align with our vision for the game’s future.
Update Overview
Ragnarok: Monster World will transition to a fully Web3-integrated gaming experience.
Players can continue enjoying content with game-bound Ragmons, but earning on-chain rewards will require Ragmon NFTs.
Our updated ecosystem follows the principle: No NFT, No $ZENY — More NFTs, More Benefits.
These updates will go live on December 26, coinciding with the conclusion of the 1st Regular Season’s late era.
A new token, $RUPI, will be introduced and used in the ecosystem until the Token Generation Event (TGE) of $ZENY. $RUPI will replace $RON for various activities, including level merging, level upgrades, and potentially breeding and NFT sales in the future.
$RUPI will be introduced with in this month — December, 2024.
Game Modes & $ZENY
Key Updates
Boss Raid
A new Boss Raid mode will test your skills in competitive gameplay.
Only players with a Full NFT Deck (7 Ragmon NFTs) are eligible for leaderboard rewards.
eZENY Chest Box
eZENY Chest Boxes will drop for NFT holders upon victory in PVP mode.
Holding at least one NFT in your deck gives you a chance to receive a Chest Box containing eZENY.
The more NFTs you include, the greater the amount of eZENY found inside the chest.
Trust System
We’re introducing a Trust System for claiming $ZENY, requiring players to meet specific conditions.
Boss Raid Details
Boss Raid is a competitive mode where players are ranked daily based on the damage they deal to a boss monster. Rewards in eZENY are distributed daily, with rankings resetting each day.
[Leaderboard Requirements]
Players must use a deck of NFT Ragmons to qualify for leaderboard rewards.
Players using game-bound (off-chain) Ragmons can participate but won’t earn rewards.
[Daily Play Limits]
Players can participate up to 5 times daily. Only the highest single-damage score is recorded.
Example: If you deal 50, 100, and 150 damage, your leaderboard score will be 150.
Additional attempts (up to 10 daily) can be purchased with Crystals or eZENY.
[Rewards]
Rewards are distributed to the top 1,000 players, with higher ranks earning larger rewards.
PVP Mode
Only players with a full NFT deck can qualify for eZENY rewards in PVP mode.
The top 350 players on the leaderboard will receive rewards based on their rank.
eZENY Chest Boxes drop only upon victory in PVP battles for the NFT holders only.
Monthly Benefit Subscription
A Monthly Subscription feature will offer exclusive benefits to help you maximize rewards.

eZENY in Chest Box:
Double the amount of eZENY in each Chest Box.
Leaderboard Rewards:
Earn 15 eZENY daily for being in the top 500 on the PVP and Boss Raid leaderboards.
Trust System Contribution:
Subscriptions contribute toward improving your Trust Level.

[Pricing and Options]
Web Purchase: $10 worth of RON or equivalent in eZENY (adjusted for market rates).
App Purchase: $10 via eZENY or in-app purchases.
Gifting Option: Subscriptions can be gifted to other players.
Trust System
The Trust System ensures fair claiming of $ZENY and prevents abuse. Trust Levels are based on:
Gameplay activity
On-chain activity
Social engagement
GT Holder Perk: Players who own GT can claim $ZENY without meeting Trust Level requirements.
$RUPI: The New Alternative Token
$RUPI will replace $RON as the ecosystem’s primary token for various activities, such as level merging, upgrades, and potentially breeding and NFT sales.
Initial Rate: 1 eZENY = 10 $RUPI (subject to market conditions).
Supply: 350 million tokens, with unissued tokens burned upon $ZENY’s TGE.
[Usage]
Level Merge and Upgrade: $RUPI becomes mandatory once claimable.
Breeding (Future): Breeding mechanics will integrate $RUPI.
NFT Sales: Future NFTs may be available for purchase using $RUPI.
[Transition to $ZENY]
$RUPI will serve as a preparatory currency before $ZENY’s TGE.
Players can convert $RUPI to $ZENY at a ratio announced closer to the TGE date.
This ensures a smooth, stable transition into the $ZENY ecosystem.
[Why $RUPI Matters]
The introduction of $RUPI serves multiple purposes:
By replacing $RON, $RUPI strengthens the ecosystem’s independence and aligns it more closely with ROMW’s long-term goals.
It incentivizes players to participate actively in the ecosystem while maintaining a balanced and sustainable token supply.
